| BOOK LAUNCH PARTY! The well known, and talented local artist, Karen Morris, will be here to sign her newly released book, The Beading Answer Book. The books will be $14.95 and Karen will be available to autograph them for you. There will also be a raffle for a $30.00 Gift Certificate to Lifes A Bead! Join us for refreshments! A little bit about Karen....Karen was the associate editor of Threads Magazine for 8 years. The first book she published, in 2001, is "Selling Lingerie That Fits." While working at Threads Magazine some of the projects involved beads, which of course she became interested in. From that point on she delved into the beading world full force. She has dabbled in just about every aspect of beading, including creating lampwork beads to creating free form vessels and of course everything inbetween. Karen has had one of her original beaded vessels shown at the Bead International Dairy Barn in 2004. Her piece was displayed there until 2006! Please join us in congratulating Karen on the publication of her new book!!! |
